The Takeoff Institute provides resources and mentorship specifically tailored for Black undergraduate students. Our intensive 8-week Summer Fellowship Program provides students with the opportunity to develop professional and interpersonal skills, work with leaders in their desired field and jump-start their careers.
Our Mission
By giving students the fundamentals and skills that all jobs require (attention to detail, effective communication, collaboration, etc.) the Takeoff Institute will empower Black undergraduate students across the country to launch their careers and succeed after graduation.

The Fellowship
Our Fellowship is an immersive 8-week curriculum designed to supercharge your readiness for competitive internships and post-grad roles. Students receive mentorship, a weekly speaker series, private coursework in PowerPoint and Excel and more over the summer. Rising sophomores, juniors, and seniors interested in building a strong foundation to launch a successful career should apply.
